New Mexico State Police are investigating an officer involved shooting in Alamogordo ; Justin Seward, 45, of Roswell was apprehended after pointing a handgun at police officers; Texas will expand anti-rabies efforts along the New Mexico state line because teh Arizona Fox rabies variant is now established in New Mexico .
