The N.M. Supreme Court affirmed the convictions of first-degree murder of Joseph Sanders in the shooting death of Laura McCormick, of Weed, in 2023; there is progress in the cleanup of Ruidoso Downs; there will be a cleanup Tuesday morning at the N.M. Museum of Space History; Tuesday is Election Day.
